My work as an Educator and Coach is dedicated to the personal growth and well-being of everyone that I work with. It is my firm belief that the answers for our lives lie within us, and that my role is to support the manifestation of your inner knowing. My goal for the programming listed below is to do just that. Since the answers to our questions are already in the room (so to speak), it will be our collaborative efforts during these presentations that will result in you becoming better informed and enlightened to implement many of these approaches.

Insights on Success: Positive Psychology Workshops for schools

Student success, resiliency, and meaningful engagement are essential components of an effective and affective educational environment. This afternoon program addresses research-based strategies and formulas for manifesting these student attitudes and behaviors in the classroom and beyond.

Positive Masculinity: Engaging and Motivating Adolescent Boys

This program investigates the unique biological and cultural challenges that impact boy’s development, and explores several empirically-based theories and intervention models that have proven to be effective in promoting their cognitive and emotional well-being. Looking through the broad lens of strengths-based Positive Psychology research, and specifically through Mark Kiselica’s and Matt Englar-Carlson’s Positive Psychology/Positive Masculinity framework, we explore proven strategies for engaging and motivating this unique population.

Understanding and Motivating Millennials and Generation Z

Working with and motivating today’s students presents new challenges for educators. This afternoon program is designed to support teachers and administrators at all levels in fostering a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by this generation and explores empirically based strategies for connecting with, engaging, and challenging their achievement.

In this workshop we explore proven strategies for supporting student-athletes to overcome obstacles, increase persistence, and maximize their confidence. This program is offered in full day, or afternoon format.

In this afternoon workshop we explore empirically based Positive Psychology interventions, including activities in support of you understanding and utilizing your unique strengths, both on and off the field. You will leave this workshop feeling more empowered to manifest your mental and athletic potential.

Neuro-plasticity and Performance

This full or half day workshop examines the concept of neuroplasticity and how, by taking a ‘top-down, bottom up’ approach to merging the mind and body, we can maximize our mental fitness and performance potential.

The Power of Hypnosis for Performance

This 2 hour experiential workshop supports individuals and teams to experience a solutions-focused hypnotic trance designed to empower you to manifest your best.

Dysfunctional Team Dynamics

In the full day or weekend long workshop we approach team dysfunction from a “what’s right” perspective. Based on the work by Robert Kegan and Lisa Lahey we explore ways in which individuals and teams can move from complaint to commitment, and from blame to personal responsibility in fostering an individual and team vision for the future.

Building a Championship Team Culture

This afternoon workshop is designed to explore proven strategies for creating an ideal future based on extra-ordinary possibility. We identify the formation and evolution of your team’s identity through the lens of history and tradition, shared values, mutual accountability, and commitment. We then examine empirically-based research on championship team formation, and engage in experiential activities designed to manifest your team’s potentiality.

Managing Self-Defeating Thoughts

In this afternoon workshop we examine how our interpretations of events lead to thoughts, which lead to feelings, and finally to actions and results. Learn four strategies for empowering your thought patterns, leading to enhanced preparation and focus for practices and competitions.
